Our story

Gaelic & Grain is led by Bryan Roche, our lead carpenter from Ireland. Born and raised in Tipperary, Bryan developed an early passion for woodworking and learned his craft in Ireland, where woodcraft is a generational skill passed down with pride. His training instilled deep values of precision, integrity, and respect for the material; creating pieces meant to last and be handed down from generation to generation. That love for heirloom-quality craftsmanship ultimately led Bryan to found Gaelic & Grain after settling in his new home in Texas.

Working closely with interior designers and customers, Bryan kept hearing the same frustration: people didn’t know where to find truly well-made tables, crafted from quality wood, at an honest price. Handcrafted furniture felt hard to source, difficult to customize, and disconnected from the maker. Gaelic & Grain was created to change that. Bryan aims to be a trusted partner throughout the process; whether you’re designing a beautiful walnut dining table for everyday meals and holiday gatherings, a coffee table to relax around at the end of the day, or a refined console to elevate an entryway. At the heart of Gaelic & Grain is a simple promise: creating a one-of-a-kind table for you is our passion, and we handle every piece with care so it can be enjoyed for years to come.
